Tag, you are IT!

" Christian life isn't a one-person race. It's a relay. You are not alone; you're a part of a team assembled by our unstoppable God to achieve his eternal purpose." Christine Caine.

We are all familiar with the childhood game called "Tag". This game can be played for a limited amount of time or it can go for a lifetime. Kids attach it to fun. Relay runners attach it to winning. Parents attach it to who will wake up in the middle of the night when the new born is up and crying. Teachers attach it to passing down knowledge & God made men to resemble him.. Tagged!

I was having a conversation with an older sister not too long ago and she told me something that hasn't left my mind. She started the conversation with " So I hope you learned something this weekend. Did you figure out what you need to do to expand the resources God gave you to touch other's lives?" My response to her was " Yes, I have a blog. Have you seen?!" She looks at me with a smile and says " Yes, you do have a blog and I am so proud of you and I want you to keep going but in your own home, at your church what are you doing to touch the lives of those who cannot see your blog? you saying you have a blog and stopping there is the equivalent of doing dishes at your aunt's home and going back to your house and your dishes are still dirty. It starts with you. it starts with your home. How will you help out? I want to see progress Glo!" and I cannot make this up I literally heard the same voice I heard back in December on the bus going back home saying "Tag, you are it!"

1.  I am a vessel. I came from somewhere. Everything I know now I learned; and what I learn is information I have to pass down. big or small. So to you reading this, don't be shy to go out there and share what you know. Tag, you are it!

2. Get yourself an entourage that when they win, they help you win. Get you friends who when you finish speaking with them you actually leave with information that grow and expand you rather than just gossip. Find them. Even if it's just one. You will not regret it.

3. Change your character. The nature in which you do things show how far your are willing to last in any and everything that you do.

Dear God,
I don't want to be someone who can only teach through this blog,
I don't want to neglect my home and those around me but be too anxious to please those outside of my reach.
Father,
I want it to start with me. I want generational curses to end with me. I want healthy relationships and growth to begin with me. I want to be able to touch the lives of those around me and testify by seeing them tagging others into figuring out their purpose in this world.
This year, I pray that you expand me. I pray that you stretch me beyond my limit so that I instantly know and take advantage of the opportunities you lay before me.
Show me who I am. Reveal to me my character and help me break them if they do not serve purpose in this journey as you see fit.

Amen.
