TWENTY TWENTY TWO !

I always heard that how you start your year determines how the rest of it will be. Oddly enough, I believe it. I believe that how you start something is how you set it's trajectory. 

I started this year alone. Never in a million years did I think I would ever do this. But, I did it! I can't lie though, it felt so lonely but I was so happy and at peace. I was able to put a lot into perspective. I looked back at 2021 and how much I did. Was I proud of what I accomplished? Yes! but It seemed as though I didn't accomplish much but I did so much. does that make sense? 

Anyways, "My time is now!" 

I will say this because I was always scared to grasp an opportunity when it presented itself to me. I was always scared to do what it is I love in fear of failing but, isn't failing a part of the process ? and what did Aaliyah once say ? " If at first you don't succeed, dust yourself off and try again." LOL Oh the accuracy!

I won't hold you here for too long but happy new year. May twenty twenty two bring you so much joy that you burst!

Dear God, 

Once again, your grace overflows in my life and you gave me another opportunity to see a new year and for that, I thank you wholeheartedly. A lot did not see this new year and I pray that the mourning families be wrapped in your arms. 
I know my time is now. I pray that you open my eyes to what you have in store for me. May I not reject it out of fear. I pray you give me strength, discipline and a focused mind to keep going.

Amen.
