28 days of devotion : " Have you kept your promise?" (FINALE)

It is unwise to make decisions based off of your emotions. Get out of your feelings for a moment. Use logic. Do you believe in the universe coming together for you? Do you believe that God is able to disrupt everything in your life so that you could spend 5 minutes with Him ? Do you believe that God listens to you when you speak ? How is your relationship with Him ? In January, I worked on connecting with my environment. I was told that everything that you have around you represents who you are. So I worked on keeping my spaces tidy, organizing my thought process, I worked on discipline (how to save money. Not go on social media before a certain time etc ..) do things that are mentally good for me. Fast forward to February. I wanted to really focus on my spiritual journey and because God is an amazing teacher, He sent me back to myself. I meditated on proverbs. Part 1 and 2 are already posted and this is the finale of the series... I am supposed to write down the remaining last ...

28 days of devotion : " But, was it for you ?" ( Part 2)

" Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to reform ( or pause and reflect)." - Mark Twain Day 9/28  - Folly. ( Proverbs 9,10) Be careful  with those around you who wrongly advise you. They are leading you down the wrong path and modifying your destiny.  Day 10/28 - Lifestyle of the badmind and the just. ( Proverbs 10,31-32) Everything in life is a choice good and bad. You're the one who chooses where you want to stand. Be stable with your decisions and stick to it until the end.  Day 11/28 - Balance ( Proverbs 11, 1-2) I am reminded everyday that lukewarmness and unbalance are two things I need to really acknowledge about myself and work on. There isn't water further down the road. it's just a mirage. Day 12/28 - Less is more ( Proverbs 12,9) " Better to be a nobody and yet have a servant than pretend to be somebody and have no food ". This scripture described exactly what this new generation is and it amazed me b...

28 days of Devotion - "But, was it for you ?" ( Part 1)

"The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing." - Socrates This month I decided to go through 28 days of learning; And what better way of doing so than learning from the source Himself. Ever since January, I have been looking towards zooming out and refocusing on what's more important this year so I reopened my Bible and went to the book of proverbs. Here's what I've learned so far ... Day 1/28 - Bad Company (Proverbs 1, 10-19) " The path of all who go after ill-gotten gain; it takes away the life of those who get it." Choose wisely who you want to be by your side for they represent who you are in front of God and in front of people. Day 2/28 - Wisdom changes our paths. ( Proverbs 2, 6-12) God does not bless what He is not a part of. You can try and force situations and convince yourself that " it's God's plan " and the whole time, nothing is going accordingly and then you get upset. But, was it FOR you ? Day 3/28 - R...
